PYIMS stands for Pakistan young innovative minds. As the name suggests the focus is on young and innovation.

The aim of this organization is to bedeck the youth of Pakistan with gem of innovation.

Innovation leads path to development, progress , prosperity and shapes humanity.

PYPT

The Pakistan Young Physicist’s Tournament, sometimes referred to as the “Physics World Cup”, is a scientific competition between teams of secondary school students. It mimics, as close as possible, the real-world scientific research and the process of presenting and defending the results obtained.

Participants have almost a year to work on 17 open-ended inquiry problems that are published yearly in late July. A good part of the problems involves easy-to-reproduce phenomena presenting unexpected behaviour. The aim of the solutions is not to calculate or reach “the correct answer” as there is no such notion here. The Tournament is rather conclusions-oriented as participants have to design and perform experiments, and to draw conclusions argued from the experiments’ outcome.

PYNT

The Pakistan Young Naturalists’ Tournament, IYNT, bridges gaps between natural sciences and inspires young students. The IYNT aims at promoting creative potential of teenagers aged 12 through 16 who are eager to explore the World, experiment, work in teams, and gain new skills in an international setting.

The problems of the IYNT come from various areas of natural sciences and attract the students to interdisciplinary, independent research from across the sciences without prioritizing any narrow area.
